Privacy Notice

What this website collects, why, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do about it.

This notice covers www.nucleustechworks.com. It is written to align with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”). Nucleus Tech Works is the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described here.

What we collect

We collect personal data in exactly two situations.

  • When you send us an enquiry. The form on our Contact page asks for your name and email address, which are required, and optionally your organisation, role, phone number and message. We also record the time of submission and your browser’s user-agent string.
  • When you accept analytics. If you accept in the cookie notice, we record that choice in your browser’s local storage so we do not ask again, and we may then measure which pages are visited. If you decline, no measurement takes place and the site works exactly the same.

We do not ask for, and this website has no facility to collect, financial information, government identifiers, biometric data, or any details of a legal matter.

Why we use it

Enquiry data is used for one purpose only: to reply to your enquiry and to continue that conversation if you want it to continue. We do not sell personal data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not add you to a marketing list without your asking.

Where it is held

Enquiry submissions are stored in Google Cloud Firestore, and this site is served by Google Firebase Hosting. Both are operated by Google, acting as our Data Processor. Our Contact page also embeds a Google Map; loading that map involves a request to Google, which is subject to Google’s own privacy policy.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are retained for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, after which they are deleted. Your cookie preference stays in your own browser until you clear it, and is never transmitted to us.

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you may ask us to:

  • tell you what personal data of yours we hold, and how we use it;
  • correct anything inaccurate, or complete anything missing;
  • erase your data where we no longer need it for the purpose;
  • withdraw a consent you previously gave; and
  • nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf.

Write to info@nucleustechworks.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled a request, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Children

This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect the personal data of anyone under 18. If you believe a child has submitted data to us, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

The site is served only over HTTPS. Enquiry records are write-only from the browser — the website itself has no ability to read back submitted enquiries — and access to stored enquiries is restricted to the people at Nucleus Tech Works who need it in order to reply to you.

Changes

If we change this notice we will update the date at the top of the page. Where a change materially affects how we use data you have already given us, we will tell you directly.
